AI Usage Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
In short: we use AI to work faster, but people stay responsible for the result. We do not feed your confidential data into public AI tools without your written agreement.
1. Where we use AI
- Drafting and research: first drafts of copy, outlines and summaries, which a person edits and fact-checks.
- Coding assistance: suggestions and boilerplate, which a developer reviews, tests and is responsible for.
- Products we build for you: chatbots, document search and automations that use AI models. We choose the provider with you and explain what data goes where.
- Coaching: we teach you how to use tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini safely in your own work.
2. Our principles
- A person is accountable. Everything we deliver is reviewed by a member of our team before it reaches you.
- Your data is protected. We do not enter your confidential material, credentials, API keys or your customers' personal data into public AI tools unless you have agreed in writing. When we do use AI with your data, we use business-grade accounts and settings that do not use your data to train models, where the provider offers them.
- We check quality and ownership. We test AI-assisted code, check it for obvious licensing and security problems, and tell you about any third-party material that needs attribution.
- We are open about it. If you ask whether and how AI was used on your project, we will tell you.
- No misuse. We do not build products intended to deceive people, impersonate real individuals, or make fully automated decisions that significantly affect people without human oversight.
3. AI features we build into your product
For any AI feature, our handover notes list the AI provider, the type of data sent to it, how long it is kept, and how users are told they are talking to an AI. We recommend a clear note in chatbots that the user is speaking with an automated assistant, and a way to reach a person.
4. Connecting AI tools to your accounts
In coaching sessions we connect AI tools to apps such as Gmail, OneDrive or LinkedIn on your own screen. You sign in yourself, using the provider's official sign-in screen, and you never share your password with us. We help you grant only the permissions you need, and we show you how to disconnect and revoke access afterwards.
5. Limits of AI
AI can be wrong, biased or out of date. Please keep a person in the loop for anything important, such as legal, financial, medical or safety decisions.
6. Questions or concerns
